Thanks for the help everyone, i'm supposed to head to orientation in a few weeks and my doctor's office sent me a reminder that my colonoscopy is coming up.

Does anyone knows if the anesthesia medication is going to be a problem for the drug test?

I can postpone for a year I guess.

It should be fine. A friend of mine shared in a TMI way with May Trucking about his. They told him it was medically necessary so not to worry. Also, you'll be home for a few days preparing, and recovering, so the anesthesia will be out of your system before you start back to work.

Don't worry about bad drugs being in your system. Don't postpone your screening. It could save your life.
