Please Help Me? I'm Quite Defeated!!

I was "hired" by a company, did everything I was supposed to do on my end (permit, medical card) only to find out I was off a yr on my DUI conviction. It's four yrs to this very day (3/28/14). This particular company requires five years. I'm out. Please help me? Any companies out there that will give me a chance to prove myself? I'm not the same person I was in 2011 when I was pulled for the DUI that is now hindering my dream. I gave up everything and now am sleeping on someone else's couch because I thought I was leaving here Thursday. All suggestions welcomed.
