Paul I never once advocated quitting. Like Splitter and many others in this forum, quitting was never an option for me.

We ALL suggested having the contract/agreement explained, clarified by Prime Management authorized to represent their contract, and if need be getting a legal opinion. Based on what I read, you got the opinion of an IT person, not an authority at all. I know Prime would have been very willing to sit down with you and address your concerns one by one. You quit, never giving them or yourself a chance. By the time you got into "it" with us, you were already gone.

Splitter's response is actually more understandable now. He stuck with it, wanted to succeed and although he was likely aware of the contract terms, he did NOT allow it to distract him from his goals. From that perspective, he gets my 100% agreement.

Paul we volunteer our time here, and although I cannot speak for anyone else, prefer not to have it wasted.

I'll leave you with a couple of thoughts:

- If you can, check your ego; crawl back to Prime and "eat some crow." Prime is the most selective of all the companies offering Sponsored Training. Great people, great training and can offer you a great career. You didn't get even a sniff of that. Don't squander this opportunity. Talk to them, communicate with the right people this time.

- You will be faced with contracts/agreements no matter where you go at this point. Swift, Roehl, Schneider, JPT, CRST, CR England, Western Express, HO Wolding, West Side...etc.

- If you apply to other companies, think about what you are going to say if asked; "what happened at Prime?" It might not come up, but in the event it does, your answer will need to be honest.

I am all trusting when it comes to employment contracts, NDAs and non-compete clauses. I see these as non-negotiable, since I want to work with Prime, so I'll just sign them. Besides the plethora of positive ytube reviews.

Prime does not give-out these contracts for review prior to acceptance and attending the training. So I assume they might frown on this site publishing snippets of text from the agreement. Though I would like to read if available.

Roehl has their contract easily available -I have the pdf.
