Day one is over. I originally stated there were 11 in the class, but 2 arrived later because they overslept. Oops. So there are 13. We did our drug tests and and some had their physicals done, then we went over our contracts. God Bless our recruiter, she must have the patience of Job. She had to repeat herself numerous times, plus listen to "comments like "I can't do that" or "why do we have to get up that early to leave for Crowder (which was 900am by the way)" and a few other rude comments. I was embarrassed. A couple were complaining about the (free) cafeteria food. SMDH. I thought to myself "Really?!!" Sorry to go "all negative", haha. Tomorrow we go to Crowder College. Others will be going to Truck Dynasty. Time to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers close out their series. Yes!

Keep an eye on the whiners and complainers. Chances are they won't last very long. Good luck to you, Don. You're going to exceed all our expectations!good-luck.gif

Rainy D: The instant complainers are the two students that came in late yesterday. I am staying away from them as much as possible as I do not want to be found "guilty by association", nor deal with their negative vibes. I am going into this with an attitude of "listen, do as I am told and keep my mouth shut," and don't need to be around negative vibes.

No pressure at all. Why be a failure when instead you can be a success?

We arrived at Crowder College this morning, my our instructors and went over learning materials, policies, etc. to get ready for Monday. We then got our rooms and went to lunch. So free time until class starts Monday @7:30. So glad I am not rooming with the two dudes. One told me at lunch (I can't "shake" him off me, he is like a flea) that our recruiter asked him yesterday "if he thought he was a good fit at CFI?" I immediate thought what Rainy D mentioned earlier this am. I didn't say a word, except, "oh, really?" I've expanded enough energy on this dude, so I won't be mentioning him or the other anymore. I'm going to go enjoy the car show here at the college, then get a step ahead for Monday and review all the study materials we were given. Have a great weekend.

Wow, can anyone say Moron?!?! He definitely does not sound like CFI material and I am sure that it will not take long for him to be sent home. Some people just don't belong in this business and makes you wonder why they even bother going into it in the first place. Good luck at Crowder and I would also recommend that you stay away from certain individuals like that as well. But I will tell you that the instructors at the school are not dumb and can pick out problem students usually right away and will make sure that they put them in there place. So if you do what you are supposed to and ask questions when you aren't sure about something you will be fine.
