Thanks Jamie:

Now that I am off the trainers truck and solo, we will see how happy I am, haha. Go back to work this coming Saturday morning and have been pre-planned for a haz-mat load. Very first run in my solo truck driving career will be haz-mat? Oh, goody!

I just got done reading all 30 pages of your progress from start to finish, you look really happy in the pictures you posted. I'll be "leaving for truck driving school in Little Rock, Arkansas Sunday(maybe Monday, early morning?). I'm pretty excited, I started studying for my written exams a few weeks ago, and have really stepped up my game the past few days.

I hope you keep updating your thread, as I look forward to see how things keep progressing for you. Keep up the good work! smile.gif

Good for you. Getting dispatched for that on Saturday will give you a small check for this week. If it will be placarded make sure you have clear packing tape to secure them. If you have questions feel free to call me up to 23:00 tonight or anytime tomorrow after 11:00. Good luck.

I have some clear packing tape in the truck. You're having a late run tonight. Isn't that past your bedtime? rofl-3.gif

CFI requires drivers to have a Haz-mat endorsement with 120 days of hire. Strange thing is, my trainer doesn't have a haz-mat endorsement. Hmmmm. Anywho, just more regulation to worry about out the gate, hee, hee.

First solo run is haz-mat (auto batteries). I hope I did all the documentation on the OBCS. If I didn't, someone in operations will say something, I am sure. First day solo jitters got me in relation to paperwork and the OBCS, I guess. The driving was the easy part. All -well mostly - highway.
