.... if you use your Super loud Jakes in a small town for absolutely no reason other than you think it sounds cool. Then the local cop rips out of a parking lot and pulls you over. Priceless.

Happened yesterday to the idiot behind me that felt the need to Jake in a 30 mph "no engine brake" zone.

Funny you mention that I saw the same thing on US 30 today at 2:00 in the morning. Dude with straight pipes and his deafening Jake brake going in a 40 MPH zone, Unfortunately he didn't get pulled over however.

Drivers like that give the rest of us a bad name. I drive a 2018 Cascad, even with the Jake on high its pretty quiet and I still feel bad about using it near housing.

If you forget to set your brakes and your loaded rig goes tumbling down the hillside THEN you tell safety that you "set the whammy bar trailer brakes and must have bumped it with your knee".
