I guess I got one now. Easier to identify than a red truck.
Yeah, something unique is very helpful. Makes it quick and easy to recognize who it is.
I cant seem to upload pictures from my phone....I will try when I get off work.

Yes, that's why I have my gorgeous parrot as my avatar. He's barely over 1 year old and he can already say multiple words and noises clearly. I dare to say, he's doing much better than a human at that age!
Is he an African Grey, Daniel?

Oh that might be the coolest avatar ever!
I've uploaded my avatar twice, but it always goes back to the red truck.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
New! Check out our help videos for a better understanding of our forum features
Hey folks, we've made a ton of updates to the website lately and one of the things we have to do is make sure that everyone's avatar picture here in the forum comes from our website and not an outside website like Photobucket or Google Images or anything like that.
If your avatar wasn't uploaded to TruckingTruth then take a moment to upload a new one. In a couple of days I'm going to go through and change any avatars that don't come from our website to something that does.
To change your avatar just click on the main menu at the very top left corner of any page and choose "My Profile". On your profile page you'll see a button that says "Update My Profile" and that will take you to the page where you can upload a new avatar.
Thanks!
