Well on the bus for my 37 hour trip (9 hr layover in Atlanta and another 6 in St Louis). Springfield here I come!

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

OWI:

Best of luck to you squirrelly. You have a huge support team here right behind you.

It's going to be a whole new world, and you might feel totally out of your element. But it's all a means to an end. Stay the course and get er done. Don't listen to the terminal rats! There's lots of fellow Primates here to help you along. Good luck!

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
