PackRat, I wanted to do the same thing...lol

All I'm looking for is help to get hired. I'm a good person and ready to pledge loyalty to the company that will hire me. I know I don't have anything to prove for it other than my word, but we are all men here, and when men give their word, it should mean something. I have a clean driving record, no past DUI's, no accidents, no criminal charges, no drugs, nothing. My only issue is I never held on a job really long enough because I didn't know what I wanted to do in life. I know what I want to do now, and that's trucking.
Arseniy; Look; if you can calm down and see past your outrage, you will see that some very experienced folks....with years of history in the trucking business....are actually trying to help you!
The website is called Trucking Truth, not Trucking Dreams or Trucking Wishes, etc. And, that is what you are getting. You may not like the answers, but that does not change the facts.
What you 'want' or 'wish for' when it comes to hiring requirements, means just slightly less than a half-filled cup of warm spit to the companies that you are so ready to disparage. 😜
If you truly want in, you will have to find a way to fit the minimum guidelines.
This industry is heavily Federally regulated and there is very little leeway when it comes to the mandated hiring requirements. However; should you take the time to read the blogs posted here, you will see that there are numerous drivers on here that have been helped by the various companies they now represent to 'fit' the requirements.... In my case, Stevens Transport were willing to accept 2 years worth of bank statements showing funds transfers from savings into my account as 'income' and as proof of self-employment (due to a long term project, I did not have enough 'actual income' those years to be able to file a tax return).
Brett founded this site with the explicit aim of having himself and a multitude of experienced drivers helping 'newbies' and 'wannabees' get into the industry......but you have to set aside personal disagreements with the hiring process, accept the realities of your situation and along with it, accept their help.
Looking at your posts about your past work history, you are going to have a 'tough row to hoe'. BUT...that does not necessarily mean that it's an impossible task. Learn to 'think outside the box' and adapt to the realities....both of these things will help you greatly once you do actually get out here. And; most importantly, do not give up...especially at the very first hurdle...The ability to work through a problem and 'get 'er done' is highly prized in this business!
And as for 'hijacking the thread'... show me a website where the blogs don't meander hither and thither......I don't think such a thing actually exists, does it!? LOL Things come up and get discussed ad hoc as well as the original issue. Sorry bud, but that's real life. 😜 Despite the wandering off topic, your issue is still being debated, as you can see.
In the mean time, good luck with your quest. I hope you find a way to work around the current 'roadblock' to your dreams. I really do.
Best wishes,
Simon

Well....
I guess the 'find a way to get 'er done' speech was wasted.....
There's 30 mins of my life I won't be getting back!
If that's your answer to all problems then I guess it's probably for the best that you leave and take your dreams of driving a big rig with you. With that attitude, It'll never happen.
Sorry bud, just one more 'Trucking Truth' that you ain't gonna like!

Another know it all bites the dust.
You haven't even driven your first mile in a big rig, yet you are too smart to take good advice from successful drivers willing to waste their time trying to help you. You are one of the multitudes that keep the failure rate in trucking at astronomical levels.
You are the exact reason why carriers want to see a solid work history. I mean here we are in a forum trying to help new drivers. You were given some sound advice but it obviously wasn't what you wanted to hear, so you go off stomping your feet like a child.
Looks to me like Prime made a pretty smart choice in rejecting you.

That's unfortunate. For you. You may have learned some truths. Lots of stuff on that other site, though.
Are we ever going to get that popcorn emote?
