Pretty sure Prime just switched to testing on automatics only do they shouldn't have an issue with the restriction.

I would find a way to get rid of the restriction. Is there a reason you didn't train/test manual?
I suppose it depends on what your goals are for truck driving. That said, large fleets have been making the transition to autos which take time to fully integrate hundreds of not thousands of trucks.
My point being you heavily limit your opportunities, in an opportunity rich environment, and if your able to learn a manual transmission then don't short yourself!

Most big companies will have no problem with the auto restriction and not only that but you will be in a truck just as fast as if you didn't have the restriction. You may be limited with smaller companies but not with the mega carriers.

Hello, I recently passed my driving test, and got my CDL , but I have the manual transmission restriction. Which companies hire rookies with no experience for OTR jobs, and don't mind automatic only CDL ? Thanks
