I successfully completed my 1 year agreement with a great company and truley can't say enough good things about Jim Palmer trucking.

I have now signed on to run dedicated open deck (RGN) in and around my home state.

Stick to it that first year! It will pay off without doubt!!

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hello

Well JP is my first choice and I don't see many drivers from there. I would have a crap ton of questions, but don't want to bog down your thread...I grew up in Missoula MT, so I am familiar with the area.

But I guess I will just ask a couple.

Have you been all lower 48 or do you generally stay Mississippi west?

I guess any nice need to know if would be great that is specific about JP. I understand you get out of it what you put into it etc...
