Happy Independence Day, everybody, especially our veterans!
I am at a TA in Livingston, CA until the 6th, enjoying some downtime.
Be Safe, Everybody! Colin
Everyone have a happy and safe Indepenence Day.
Happy 4th Of July!!!!
It's flooding really hard here in Houston and some semi-trucks got stuck trying to cross the high waters!
I’m in a hotel just north of Birmingham, AL until the 10th. My trainer took home time and went to Florida.
Downside is, it will take me longer until I get my own truck. On the positive side my girlfriend is flying down from Chicago to visit me.
Happy Independence Day, and stay safe out there!

I was in Birmingham in the wee hours for a drop and hook at one our terminals
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.
In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.
Amen to this. I sure hope yall all had a very happy 4th.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY AND THANKS TO ALL VETERANS AND DRIVERS FOR YALLS SERVICE TO OUR WONDERFUL COUNTRY.
Sorry about all the caps however I love this day so much. 😁

As we're grabbing this CAT scale ticket and getting ready to put some more miles across this beautiful land of ours this morning, it seemed like a good time to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July.
A huge thanks to our veterans of the military and other public services that have helped to make and preserve this great country of ours!
Happy 4th and safe travels to everyone!
