I saw in the tanker thread you could be moving to industrial dry bulk. Just curious what company it is. That's what I run and we are in the same area so there's a possibility we could run into each other.

That was my guess. I work with someone currently that worked there. He liked it and didn't have anything bad to say about them, made some good money from what he says. I see them daily.

Hey!!! they have a terminal near me. i can go and harrass youz guys in person lol

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Thanks for the reply.

That’s consistent with my understanding. A fairly well-known and respected outfit. We’ll see what happens.

My preference however is to stay put, or research/seriously consider other options with Swift “first” before looking elsewhere (which is already in process).

Makes sense, dont throw away that tenure of you don't have to. Dry bulk is a dirty and loud job but I have a lot of fun with it. Wouldn't mind having another dry bulker to relate to. If you do make the change I'm more than happy to share what I've learned from my experiences if needed.

Good luck with everything
