LOL Rainy!
You have been great answering our questions, quieting some fears, adding some others...kidding on the last part!
Everyone here has been great and this site has some amazing resources and information. I look forward to learning more from the site, moderators, and other drivers. And knowing me I will be asking some off the wall questions. lol
Operating While Intoxicated
I received my 30 day CPAP compliance report and faxed it in the other day. My recruiter said it looked good and they I am in compliance so I don’t have to go for a sleep study. Yay!!!! Of course, the only test I don’t have to study for I don’t have to take. LOL
This Monday I will be in the new group of people. *yikes*
I know I will tell you when I see you but, good luck with your sleep study!
CPAP is a breathing assist device which is worn over the mouth or nose. It provides nighttime relief for individuals who suffer from Sleep Apnea.
I turn my truck in at the Pittston PA terminal on Monday. sniff sniff...i wont get to see you two.
keep meeting people and getting their numbers, preferably some experienced drivers so you always have support for going solo. of course, you can always call me too. ill take you ladies to dinner soon. ive met like 25 Prime drivers from this forum over the years lol its awesome!
it truly is like family and it is insane how you will run into your friends at truck stops or customers.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Good luck Rainy. I hope you have a speedy and uneventful recovery.

Heading out of Indianapolis and there are Prime trucks everywhere on the road. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many in one day. lol
I have about 9-9 1/2hours left on my trip. I know I’ve used up my 14 hour clock.
Damn, I’m sleepy.
Donna, I’m getting in late Saturday night and will have all day Sunday free. Getting on the bus at 10:30 this evening. I have all my paperwork, my bus ticket, clothes are in the dryer and then will be ready for the duffle bag, I have my sleeping bag, meds (prescription and non), toiletries, chargers, boots and tennis shoes, ummm I think that’s everything. I’ve made a list, checked it 10-15 times, checked the list on here 15-20 times but I know I will forget something. lol
I will nice to finally meet you. 😁
Will you be going out with a trainer on Thursday?
I'm on the bus headed there now- I'll be there a day or so after you!😀 Is it normal to be this nervous? Because I am😯
YES yes yes..... but if you werent you would stupid and no trainer would want you. but you have a brain and will learn and do great. i did this...you can too!

Kim I am just hanging out till Tuesday night when I have my sleep app and on Thursday my tnt trainer will be back to pick me up. Rainy it really is sort of unreal we started a new journey rather late in life meet each other on a website and all end up at Prime. Just never know I’ve meet almost a new family here and as each goes on the road we text just to make sure everything is okay. Of course every Monday a new group we drill them on the permit and then start listening to pretrip but the main point is u will get through this cause I did.
TNT:
Trainer-N-Trainee
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
