Helpful advice: unscrew the 12v plug tip, be careful of the tiny plug tip - don't let it get lost - pull out the fuse. (Watch out for the spring behind the fuse.)

Get the fuse size and buy/ order some replacements. The cooler fans might stop sometime. It's only the fuse, so keep the spares with you on the road.

Or you can do like I did: the coolers have a one year warranty. When it goes out, call Coleman, get a replacement. When that one goes out, call Coleman again. I ended up with four coolers. Swapped out the fuse and sold the coolers off. ("Free" spare fuses included.)
