Breathe deeply. listen and relax. yeah right..relax. lol
You will be fine. just rememeber if you stall, put your hazards on and restart. drivers around you dont know that you are new. you could have transmission problems. they arent laughing at you, they just want to get around you.
oh yeah... swing wide and dont hit anything.
Definitely listen n learn. Watch as well everywhere as seeing someone else do it right or wrong can be a learning tool as well. And it will likely be hard to relax and there will be times you get to the end of your rope, but just remember there’s a whole new day coming and what you see and do will make it better!
Thanks yall i appreciate it... Rainy... I LOVE TURNS that and backing are a strong point for me..stalled a few times on the road but recovered well.. its getting easier..... n a new day is a new day... 😁😁😁😎

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
HOS:
Hours Of Service
HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Cdl permit passed.. dot physical passed... now we are getting behind the wheel today... im super stoked! Any advice?

Department Of Transportation
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
