I am an unemployed former felon. I read the stories about the truckers shortage every day. I'm 52, mature, and looking to have a little for later. I have tried every school to get admitted. Strike 35 your out. I just want to ask any of you guys if any of you know how to find a school or company sponsored cdl training that won't tell me to get lost. I already am. My felonies are from 2011, and 2005. I'm not a person who will give up easily. But I'm thinking that maybe the restrictions are just the only reason to give it up. I don't think I'm the only person who has got in trouble after making a poor choice. I feel like there is something I could do. Like I said I'm not a quitter. Could one of you if you have been through this, give me advice.
