Any women truckers that suffer from or have endometriosis? I’m looking to start CDL classes/training but I have yet to do DOT physical and get permit . I just don’t want to auto DQ.
Military already ruined my dreams Bc of endo. Hoping trucking isn’t ruined for me too.
honestly, i never thought about it, but ill.ask at the doctors office. im going to the prime doc today. ill see if i can get some.answers.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
I just asked Dr Lynn at Prime's Trinity health care center. Endometriosis does not disqualify you in itself. the drugs you take forpain could. Any narcotic woukd, buy if you use Naproxen or some.other type of pain reliever not on the controlled substance list you will be fine.
Thank you so much for getting back. I don’t take any meds. I don’t even like medicine tbch. Pills are my absoluteeeeeeee lassstttt resoect for pain. I’ll ball up and cry or go to sleep or tough it out if I’m ever in severe pain.
Thanks again though. Awesome !
