The upgrade process is nothing really. As soon as your trainer drops you off at campus. Check in with the front desk to find out what time the upgrade class is the following morning. They're held daily if I remember correctly. There you will be given a list of things to complete to upgrade. A safety class, another Sim test, some CBT's. All simple stuff, nothing to it. As soon as you complete your list, get over to the Millennium building and get signed up for a truck. There's sometimes a wait to get the next available truck. When I upgraded, the wait was a few days. Your hotel room and meals will be provided during the wait, and you'll get layover pay.
As for the license, I can't remember exactly. My trainer took me through my home state during TNT to get my license switched over. But I can't remember if I had the temporary or hard copy.

Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Be sure to attend the optional logs and company driver classes. many do not because they are optional. i understand cause they are exhausted from tnt but theres a lot of info there.
call steve larson or linda brown about the license. they should have the hard one and can tell you.

Does or could anyone clue me in as to what's involved in Up Grading at Prime, Inc. ounce you've completed TNT training?
Also my trainer is going on Home Time the 24th of August. All I have is my temporary copy of my Missouri CDLs, which I'm to change out during that time for CDLs from my home state, (Alabama). Would the temporary be sufficient or would I need my "Hard Plastic Copy" from Missouri?
Any input would be appreciated
