Some guys carry some weights and a mat, maybe a folding bench....and haul that stuff out when they're waiting somewhere.
A lot of TAs and Petros have exercise rooms of a sort.
It is often possible to stop near a nice hiking trail...that is what I try for as much as possible.
According to what I know about trucking, it is not logical or even practical to expect to be able to stop at a fitness club everyday or even to visit a fitness room at a truck stop. So aside from doing laps around the truck or risking people getting the wrong idea when I'm doing in cab exercises what are some ways i can exercise and keep fit while trucking? Any ideas are helpful. And yes I know that flatbedding is the most physically active driving profession, but I dont want to go flatbed. Thanks again!

Resistance bands are the way to go for in-cab stuff. So is Yoga.
I used to try to stop way out in the middle of nowhere and go running for a few miles and I loved it. At various times you'll find yourself running through the desert, the mountains, the plains, and the coasts. It's really fantastic. For instance, I remember one trip out West where I did all of it on consecutive days. I went running in the Appalachian mountains, then the plains of the Midwest, then the Rockies, then the desert Southwest, then the California shore. Most people will live their entire lives without making that opportunity for themselves. I was able to do it all in the same week. How awesome is that?
I don't know why people would run in circles around their truck. I ran for most of the 15 years I was out there and I never did that even once. Their is always someplace more interesting to run.
