I am trying to get into the field and can pass the urine test, but a hair test goes back for years. I have used cbd for work related pain, being from California it was no problem. do all paid cdl's do hair testing and what is their time line? v.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

CDL hair drug test only for THC?

How far back the hair test goes is up to the company doing the testing. Being honest with the company goes a long way to helping you make the best decision.

Yes the thc in pot is what is illegal. The rest is not, and cbd does not contain thc
