So far this site likes ass kissers, You might get somewhere in life being that way, But honestly none of you are Credible people. You only dislike me because I speak the Truth. everyone thinks its easy to get into this industry... Its not, and if you got in 30 years ago when they had no regulations and you could drive 20 hours on meth... Then No you aren't nothing. Its kinda like a Dr getting a degree 30 years ago or right now, its harder now. No one should settle for a crap company and you know who they are. I can go to community for free with a grant to get my cdl so yes my permit is an accomplishment, anyone recommending [company name withheld] or [company name withheld] needs a Hitler pineapple up the arse. You are disgusting, Creepy Uncle looking dont trust him around his brothers daughter type dude, having Jared Fogle followers type guy.

A permit is an accomplishment? You can get a permit with a medical card and a test, what accomplishment?

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.

Shoot, approve them all, not only is it entertaining, but let him show everyone what type person he really is. Jeez, what an idiot.

I really want to focus on people we can help and let the rest of the world do the "Jerry Springer Thing" but in this case it really is important that people see the Jekyll and Hyde personality many of these people have. They act as if they're the most innocent, good hearted people in the world and they cry the blues as if the trucking industry has treated them unfairly, but we never get to hear the other side of the story. In this case we were able to see the real person hidden behind the disguise and I wanted everyone to see how easy it is to take someone at their word only to find out everything they say is a blatant lie.

It's so revealing when we have people come in here seeking advice, yet they already know way more than we do about which companies are "good," and which are "bad." (One of the biggest fallacies among the wannabes crowd) It shows us that they've already done a bunch of research, yet they're still coming up empty handed, and unable to get their career started. They show us regularly how all these online reviews of trucking companies from the peanut gallery are literally worthless. Unfortunately, as is the case with this young man who thinks he could slap the sh*t out of all these "old" people in this forum, they are already so jaded that they can't recognize the truth when it walks up and tazes them just to try and get their attention.

Alvin, I can't help but wonder how different this conversation could have been, had you only left out that useless bs info and simply stuck to the facts.

You have misdemeanors, and are looking for company-sponsored training. That's basically all you had to say. We could have helped guide you through the process. We aren't judgmental here, no one will fault you for your past, as long as you own up to it and show a genuine desire to better yourself. We will however call you out on your bs.

Then to make matters worse you doubled down with more useless arrest info, and were called out on that as well.

Stick to the facts young man, and realize that you're dealing with adults here.

Company-sponsored Training:

A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.

The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.

If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.

Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.

I was mostly joking, but he was entertaining. rofl-3.gif

Its like listening to the guy who says he went to jail for 10 years for not wearing a seat belt....but fails to mention the 20 pounds of drugs in his car and an outstanding warrant for a major crime
