After reading a lot of information here in the forums and getting some good advice I filled out applications for Millis and Prime. I was invited to both, but in the end I decide to go with Millis.
Apparently Millis Did a background check before I was offered a spot at their school. I start in late October and have to get my CDLP and DOT physical (DOT is done already) before going. I look forward to diving into the High Road Training Program next week.
I admit to being a little nervous but, I am more excited about new opportunities.
Anyway thanks to everyone for all good information and training material.
What date in October? I'm going for my physical monday, and then my permit, but I can't start before the last week of October, preferrably the first week of November. My wife is going out of town and I have to tend to the animals while she is gone
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
Looks like the 22nd.
Thanks. I am fairly sure Millis is going to be my school, if they will have me, but the 22nd won't work. Of course, I forgot to ask where you were going. I wonder how often a new class starts?
