Rob, contact your state and see if you can qualify for temporary disability. you never know. its better to wait and get better tha go back and have issues.
Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery, but let your body get back to 100% before going back to work.Follow your doctor's orders
Rob, I guess disregard my post in another spot, asking how you have been doing. I would echo what Rainey is saying, because I live in New Hampshire, and there was a massive outbreak from that very disease in the past couple of months. They linked it to a hotel hot tub, and possibly a couple of other spots. I would encourage you to take it seriously because there have been fatalities from it. I hope you start to feel better soon, and get back on the road.

Interesting. My wife has been sick for a couple of weeks, and she goes to a gym with hot tub and pool.
What are the symptoms?
Not sure, I would google it...

I just did, she doesn't have it, but I feel better about not joining her gym now. If I join one, I'll find one with no pool or hot tub.
You have to breathe in the bacteria. It's usually air conditioning systems that cause it. First couple of days are flu like symptoms , body aches and high fever. After that nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea come out to play. Then super high fever appears. I had almost 105° fever for two days before I decided I needed to go to urgent care, and they called the ambulance. I'm not sure if a hot tub would do it, especially public ones. They chlorinate those things to death.
Thanks Rainy, but unfortunately I already got a letter telling me I'm not eligible because I didn't work a year before it happened. So it looks like I'll just lose a months pay. I'll survive it, and hopefully I get back soon.
Wow. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that Rob... this may sound strange but you know those water faucets they have at the fuel Island? I asked my trainer one day is that water good to drink? He said I have no idea... I've literally seen guys washing themselves at the pumps in that water and others filling their water jugs out of them. Then I noticed a couple of the pumps had signs that said it wasn't potable water. Not putting two plus two together but Legionnaires disease comes from places where water is contaminated or air vents that were wet and bacteria formed. Just my two cents get well sir.
