There are actually some companies that pay true hub miles, (but none that I know that hire inexperienced drivers) meaning miles actually driven.. not mine lol..we do hhg or zip to zip.

The thing is, when you are assigned a load, your company will generally tell you how many miles that load assignment pays so you can keep track of your earnings easily.
