Brian you might have confused me with another post. I can’t claim any military service, though I am grateful to all that have served. And I might add that by doing so you’ve earned a “sir”.
Parrothead, those of us who spent any serious length of time in the military as an enlisted person, to hear sir or ma'am in our direction feels so very foreign. Officers and warrant officers are sir, ma'am, mister, etc... I still cringe whenever I am referrred to as "sir" by anybody. I think that title will forever make me cringe. I rather be called Sergeant or in case of a marine, Staff Sergeant. That titles is what i am used to. That is who I am. I'm definitely not a sir! LoL

After my drill instructor, NCOs would scream at you "don't call me sir, I work for a living!".
Damn Grump you beat me to it. I was gonna say the same thing.
Hmmm so many hot military guys on one thread. There is a god after all!!!
Ive always supported our troops in my own way. that is all im saying.
If my 30 year old, three tour, army veteran son ever acted like Josh I’d beat his ass.
Thank you to all the veterans on this site for your service.

LOL, I'm gonna post my picture, make you eat your words! Hot! LMAO
I am probably old enough to be your dad! LOL
But thank you.
Yeah well... this thread got too serious.
i would have been the perfect army wife. "love ya miss ya cant wait to see ya"..."oh you are home, lets stay in bed your whole leave" (inject any comment you want, but i dont want a guy MeToo ing me here) then after 2 weeks i would get annoyed and ship him back. then back to love ya miss ya cant wait to see ya.
i was with a SSG for many many years... i "supported" him through Bosnia, Panama, Somalia, Iraq, Afgh, and even retirement.
As a matter of fact.... the army guys is how i started writing my books.
My guy loved "stories" and i gave some of our sex mails to some other wives and girlfriends in his unit. Before you know it, men in his unit wanted to go AWOL thinking the women who never ever wrote that explicitly were cheating. My guy read them and i got yelled at "how the hell did all my men get our emails???" he recognized them immediately.
when the guys calmed down, they asked me to publish them. He was in Iraq at the time. before i knew it, i was getting emails from marines and sailors in Korea asking for audiobooks.
Me and the SSG are still really good friends and he laughs still... "ya know every guy in Iraq was (entertained by) my emails. thanks a lot".
Add that to working with Vietnam vets at the USPS and i can usually spot PTSD fairly well. even in the written word. when i see guys like this OP, i seriously hope they get help. he has a lot of anger and has that paranoia in him.
the recruiter lied the school lied we lied. everyone is out to get him.

I am still doubting he served. No way he would have lasted with that attitude.
