Any of you guys or gals have any luck getting old IFTA stickers off the side of the rig? I tried peeling but they’re on there good.

Try heating them with a hair dryer

I’d try Goo-Gone. It’s really good at getting rid of the goo the adhesive leaves behind. Haven’t tried it on those decals specifically but have used it with many others & tar too.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Vinyl Eraser wheel works great. Can use with a cordless drill. Can get at any parts store or Amazon for about $10-$20. Sure beats pealing off little pieces or a heat gun and plastic razor blade. Use all the time.

I was trying to find that tool in a tractor forum I frequent. Couldn't remember the name.

A heat gun will definitely work, I have watched the lot kids strip signs off box trucks with it. heat it up, careful not to burn the paint, peel it off, then use something to get the remaining glue off. Goo Gone, etc

At my company each year they'll remove old ifta stickers as we go through the inspection bay. They use a heat gun and plastic razor thing. It works pretty good. A little Goo gone for any residue and you're good.
