Thanks for the heads up about Golden Corral. It does get crowded there for Veterans Meal day! But worth it. Last year we had all five services represented at our 12 person table. And two female vets. It was really nice to have the many different Service ages also. I got to eat with some who were from the Korean War, Vietnam War(my era), and first gulf war and so on. Mostly Vietnam Vets. But as usual, I was the only Air Force that I sat with.
Don't forget to sign up with VA services as soon as you are able. Don't let this opportunity pass you on by.
Good Luck and happy trails!

Robert...,you are a good man and a Great TT Member! I look forward to many post. Thanx in advance.
Yeah to go off of what Robert said, I've always had good experiences with the VA. Only reason why I don't say great is because they are grossly underfunded and understaffed but do the best with what they have. I'm pretty sure even God forbid you needed immediate Care and the weren't registered they'd still take you in and hash out the details later.
And you golden corral is good stuff Judy wish it didn't get so packed. I always get the oil change as well. Can't go wrong there.
Brian thanks my Brother! It means a lot for a newbie!
Got a heads up from Golden Corral Yesterday. Their Veterans Day Dinner is November 12, 2018--Between 5-9 pm. But I will check with them today if your info is different that what you said yesterday.
Denny's, IHOP, Applebee's, and so many do cater to the Vets, for Veterans day.
Just an off note. A friend of mine and I went to Lowe's yesterday and when we were checking out this lady clerk asked him if he was a Vet or knew of any, and pointed to me and she gave me a card to register with for Veterans get a 10% discount there any time they purchase. So people still care for the Vets in this country. Refreshing after Vietnam returnee's after the war.
Seeking any advise from military vet drivers that use V.A. health benefits on the road. Thanks in advance.
Medications mailed to you will be sent to your home of record, took me a couple of years to get them to send it to the correct address:(..... Other then that, with your VA medical card you can walk into any emergency room at a VA hospital and get taken care of....If you walk into a non VA emergency room, it should be for something that threatens a limb or your life, then you have 72hrs to call a VA number to report hospital stay(can't remember it, sorry)..also, don't walk into a non VA emergency room if there is a VA hospital in the immediate area, they will deny payment....
Here is a complete list for this year.
