Rick, this might be a small hindrance but not a deal breaker. Here's the deal: there are some companies that won't accept any more than one DWI , and even a few who don't accept any. The age of them is definitely in your favor. I don't think you will have too much trouble with this. Just be honest when answering questions on applications or from a recruiter. Dishonesty is a deal breaker with almost all of the major carriers. Trust me they know how to find anything that is in your background, even the stuff that people think they had expunged from their record.
You can Apply For Truck Driving Jobs here and have the same application sent to multiple companies at one time. This will save you a lot of pecking away at that keyboard.
Best of luck to ya, and please keep us posted on how things turn out. This is an issue that a lot of prospective drivers face, and it always helps us help others if we hear about your successes with issues like this.

Hello drivers, I'm starting school in NC on Jan. 18th at Charlotte Truck Driver Training School. My question is, will I have a problem finding a driving job with a reputable company with two DWI convictions that are more than 20 years old? Clean driving record, no tickets at all since then. Thanks in advance for any and all advice...

Electric Auxiliary Power Units
Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
