Trimac has a good reputation. If you have time, consider spending time at the Love’s on 225, and Flying J off I-10, exit 783, both in Houston... many tankers pass through both. Talk to the drivers.
Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
Pete B appreciate the advice. Will be sure to do that sir. Safe travels
Lot of tankers off 225 in the Deer Park area also. There’s a Loves and I think a Flying J there also

Closing in on my one year mark of being Otr tankers I have decided to look into some local outfits that pull chemicals in or around Houston. Have been really looking into dupre, but couldnt find much updated info around the web. Any info about them or another company will be highly appreciated. Safe travels

Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
