I like mine. I've never used the RM or the Garmin so I really can't offer a comparison.

Okay, I appreciate your input. Thanks.
My trainer had one on his truck. work fairly well. a few times it malfunction once it took us a rather scary ride on this two lane high way through the country, I thought we were in serious trouble until I came around this bend and saw several other trucks on the same route. Overall though it worked fine I am thinking about getting one
A GPS is a handy tool, but should never be your only resource for trip planning. An atlas should be your first resource.
I bought a Rand McNally GPS TND 740, when I was I training last year I really liked it as it syncs up with the Rand Mcnally atlas. If I remember right it even shows what page on the atlas what you are viewing on the GPS is on.
but now that I run linehaul it is just collecting dust.
Linehaul drivers will normally run loads from terminal to terminal for LTL (Less than Truckload) companies.
LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning them to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.Like Susan, I've had a TT Trucker for several years. No problems, and I like the traffic/congestion reporting. (I doubt that's a unique feature though.)

Does anybody know anything about the TomTom navigation system? How does it compare to the others? The price is cheaper, but I'm just wondering how it functions in comparison.
