Congrats to you both.
Thank you so much for everything, Rainy! From your encouraging words to your great advice to your listening ear and shoulder to cry on (at times). I am so glad you had dinner with us tonight, I had a great time. The other women in on our “girls’ night” think you are awesome and I have to agree. Good luck with your new student and please be safe out there.
Congrats to Donna on your upgrade! We did it!
Thank you, Grumpy!
Congratulations to both of you. I'd like to tell you it's all downhill from here... But you're on the Forum so you know better. You're going to have some great days and some trying days. But I hope you learn to love it. God bless both of you on your Journeys.
Congratulations to both of you. Great job. Stay safe out there. Enjoy the ride.
Donna & Kim, Congratulations on your transition to solo drivers. You have shown the quality needed to achieve success in this hard career. It is rewarding if you want it to be and just as aggravating at times. Overall you have had the opportunity to meet one of the best moderators, fellow driver and super person anywhere in this industry. Her knowledge and personality have led to some of the best advice, written articles and criticism here on the forum. I would like the chance to talk to her in person someday if she ever travels through Ocala, Fl. Again congrats.
Congratulations Ladies!
Stay in touch with us - you've both been very inspiring. I love seeing people in here making the continuous transition into professional drivers. It's extremely gratifying.
You've got yourselves to a major point in this whole process, and at this point your first few loads may feel like you're starting all over again. Hang tough, as I know you both will. This is the most rewarding part of your quest!
Keep focused on safety and productivity. Let your mantra be, "Don't Hit Anything!"
As long as you can be safe and productive, you will continue to improve and earn more money.
Here's your dancing bananas!
Congrats Ladies!! You did it. I've been following your journey and has it been a day spa, no. But it hasn't been a disaster either. Did you feel like chucking the whole thing in, yes many a times. But you persevered, did what you knew you had to do or go home . You didn't quit.
As Old School said, "Here's your dancing Bananas."
Operating While Intoxicated
Congratulations to both of you!
Stay safe, watch your tail and DON'T hit anything!
Congrats ladies. Now let the real learning begin.

Not that long ago, Donna and Kim both posted on the ladies' forum that they were unsure if they were ready to take the leap into trucking. Everyone has reservations and fears, and making that decision can be daunting. These two lovely ladies conquered those fears and tackled training at Prime. Tonight I had the pleasure of having dinner with both of these outstanding women who are at the terminal to upgrade to solo drivers.
Congrats to both of you! Hard work and determination got you this far, and your intelligence and perseverance will keep you truck truck truckin' along. Hang in there, that first year will fly by!
Good luck.
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
HOS:

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
