Does anyone know if I will be able to get a job trucking if almost 4 years ago I went to substance abuse treatment for alcohol and marijuana? Marijuana wasn't really the issue but they added it to my record since I told them I sometimes smoked it when I was signing in for treatment. I would have to answer yes on question 32 of the DOT medical? Does this disqualify me completely from getting a job? I haven't smoked or had a drink since then and have no current problems with it. I have never had a dui or any legal problems with drugs or alcohol, and I have never failed a drug test except while I was in treatment, never for a job or anything. Any advice would be helpful, I have applied with some companies and everything else looks great, I don't want this to be an issue?
