Jamie, thanks for reporting back. I'm glad you did. It's terribly difficult to portray how much this career changes all the dynamics in a family. You got a taste of it and decided it wasn't for you - that's fine and good, but it's also important to realize that this is why we stress that people stick with a one year commitment to this. Everybody wants to quit at first, I mean everyone of us experience that.

I'm proud of you for recognizing it wasn't for you. It's definitely not something everyone can do. We stress all the time about the difficulties of getting started in trucking, and many of the things that seem overwhelming at the start can be overcome as you and your family adjust. But, overall it's generally not a good choice when you've got young children at home.

Trucking will always be here if you decide later on to give it another shot. Enjoy raising that family. Both you and they will be glad to be together during those years.
