Good to hear it is going well!
Great to hear this...your wait wasn’t too awful bad (easy for me to say!).
Best of luck Raptor. Safe travels!
Now the fun begins! Soak up everything he teaches you. Good luck!
Thanks guys the wait was worth it. We have been diverted to Denver for the moment. So Utah might not be in the cards this time. Oddviously he's driving now.

Wait, aren't you with Swift, or did I miss something?
He is technically not supposed to drive until your 50 hrs. Unless things have changed.
So excited for you Raptor! Sounds like, overall, it went really well. Looking forward to following your journey. =)

Danielsahn, during the first 50 hours the Mentor must be in the passenger seat while the student drives. I know of no Swift rule that prevents the Mentor from driving while the student is observing.
I do hate using my phone to do things on TT. But the Wifi stuff is expensive to use my laptop.
Depending on your phone, your cell provider and your plan, you may be holding a WiFi hotspot in your hand that your laptop can connect to, many times at no extra charge.
I use T-Mobile and Samsung Galaxy phones, currently an S9, and they have all had this feature going back to my very first S3 around 8 years ago.
If you're not familiar with the Wireless Hotspot function, it might be worth looking into. It can certainly make life a little easier.
I'm glad your training is going well and look forward to your updates!
Yes I'm with Swift and the reason he is driving is because he didn't want to use what I had left from yesterday. And I can use a full clock when we get to our destination. Anyway I have been in seat 2 and observing everything Ican.

Well showed up on Sunday afternoon and met my trainer. He is very informative and is easygoing. We supposed to take a short run to Modesto, but dispatch changed it which was good. We had two pickups one at American Canyon and one in Rocklin. After the second pickup It was my turn to drive. Drove for 8 and a 30, and drive for another two. So we are bushwhacked at one of these truck parking only of the freeway and when our ten is up (8:30 in Nevada and drop it off and another driver will take it to Denver) we'll continue to Utah. Learning the Qualcomm is going to take some getting used to. I used my com data card to fuel last night. That was not much different than when I drove before. This tyranny is an 8speed with a second splitter which works on upper gears only. Very ingenious idea. Using the second splitter instead of actually shifting gears. I was so used to a Eaton 10. But I'll get it down. My trainer is still sleeping and I've been awake since 5:30. Just under 2 hours left. I had wanted to do eight in the sleeper, drive to a place go off duty for 2 hours to clean up and then get my 11 hours back. The Qualcomm says I have 3 hours left from last night. But my trainer doesn't know if we would be legal.
Anyway, that was day 1 and day 2 of my training.
Hope all have a Happy New Year.

Will continue my journey diary later.
Qualcomm:
Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.
