Good luck. By the way you are quite young to be starting this career. (No, you're not to old). How did you determine they paid the soonest? Prime pays you very quickly, CFI covers your travel, room and food during training. There are others that pay almost from day one.

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is michelle. I'm 48 so I know i'm a little old to be starting a new career lol but my kids are more grown and I need to make better money. Anyway I checked with many companies and this one pays the soonest. Got my permit today after two days of studying. I get on the greyhound monday and head for Indiana. The worst part about that is an 18 hour layover in Columbus ohio. Wish me luck! Any advice is welcome.

Thank you for the welcome. I spoke with several recruiters. Many were not hiring in my area. Of the ones that were they paid the soonest

I got to the training on Wednesday after a 48hr bus ride. Did paperwork on Thursday. Started classroom today. Will get ot on the range tomorrow. Of course they are calling for snow tomorrow. That's ok. If I learn in the snow I'll be prepared for snow.
Great to hear. Do you have a training diary in the diaries section? That would help others.
