I can't tell you how excited I am to be getting to go back and get this re-started. I will definitely start a new thread over in the training diaries forum so that folks can get an idea about not only TMC, but also about the joys of flat-bedding
Hey, that's awesome!!!! I'm excited for ya myself and from getting to know you here in the forum I know your updates in the training diaries forum are going to be a massive help to all of the people that come into the industry behind you!

That's great news Old School. I hope TMC appreciates what they're getting.
Hammer down, my friend!
Cool man. I hope all goes well for you. I noticed your from Nacogdoches and so I have to tell you this story.
This couple stops at a Truck Stop in Nacogdoches, TX and are in line at the Burger King. The young couple are having a little argument about how to pronounce the name of the town so when they get to the counter the girl asks the blond order taker, How do you pronounce the name of this place ... and she answers slowly "Bur" "ger" "King"
HAHAHA
Olschool, I am thrilled to hear you are making that bus trip. Great news! I will be sure to keep up, as flatbedding is something I am interested in after I get my year in otr driving van. Stay safe and enjoy!
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Congradulations old school im really looking forward to following your progress ive been interested in TMC myself. good luck.
Operating While Intoxicated

Well I've been released with no restrictions from my surgeon, and in two days TMC has me back on that 22 hour bus ride to Des Moine Iowa. I can't tell you how excited I am to be getting to go back and get this re-started. I will definitely start a new thread over in the training diaries forum so that folks can get an idea about not only TMC, but also about the joys of flat-bedding. Now I know it's not for everybody, but for those of you that might be interested I'll do my best to fill you in on what I learn and go through at the TMC training facility. I was very impressed with my first visit up there, and I hope all goes well with this return visit. I've enjoyed watching so many of you get started on your new careers, and seen so many others just jumping on board here to find out how to get started, that I feel I've gained a whole new set of friends in the process of giving a little advice here and there when I felt I had something worthwhile to contribute. It's strange when I think about it, but I'll have spent about 66 hours on that bus now just to get this job, and TMC has to have about $1500.00 bucks in me already with bus tickets, food, and accommodations. I don't even want to think about what I've spent for schooling, and hernia surgery just so I could do this. I hope I can prove myself worth it to them, and finally start seeing a return on their and my investment. They say they will be keeping us busy up there, but when I find the time I will be posting some updates for you.
