Still quite a bit of work needed on backing, but that learning will come via real life experience with my trainer.
Final day of class, we finished driving yesterday. Today we clean the trucks we used so they will be nice and tidy for the next class to use them.
Orientation is next week and I am scheduled to leave with my trainer on March 11. He typically does two weeks out between home time and is near enough that when gets to go home so will I. I may start a weekly update once I am out with him, but I am still unsure. Everything I understand about being out with your trainer will wear you out and I may not have time or the energy for it.
Thank you again for following along.

Good luck and safe travels!
Congrats Pete! I know its a grind. I appreciate your updates. And hopefully i see you out there.
We will certainly meet at some point. One more week for you and then you will have a similar feeling as I currently do. The hardest week is over now friend, enjoy this next week it was certainly the most fun for me even though it pains me to ride instead of drive no matter what I am in.
Added my email address to my profile if anyone has questions or needs more detailed clarification on anything.

Pete, we prefer to keep the conversations here in the forum so the information can help everyone.
It's official, I am now employed by Millis Transfer. I want to thank everyone for advice and suggestions made to everyone that I could learn from since I've joined the site. Also I would like to thank Brett for creating the site giving us new folks a place to come find realistic insight without the usual nonsense you typically will find online. I hope to update regularly once I am out with my trainer, but only time will tell.
Brett can I ask you to give Noob Student my email address if he wants it?

Lol way to not use preview I promise I was in a Kenworth and not a Wells Fargo Concord stagecoach on those state routes.
