Last bus trip and I'll be in Springfield! Plenty of other riders going to prime as well. Seems everyone had their route changed, lots of grumpy people. People were arguing in line about who goes first, of course you go by the number on your ticket. Hopefully none of those folks are headed to prime if they get agitated that quickly.
20+ hours riding greyhound will test patience of a Saint. Means to an end...doesn't change reality that it sucks.
It's here! Day one, paperwork day. Have a good day everyone.
Good luck, have fun, and study! I devour any and all Prime training diaries so I'll be here ready and waiting.
Good luck Britton, we're all behind you
Thanks turtleš¢ and Pablo!
Small break while I get some grub. Plenty of tasty options for us vegetarians. Funny note on that, got a lunch box last night that had turkey in it so my roommate got extra food!
About to start simulator class. See ya later!
Day one was a very busy one! As you would expect.
As many have mentioned before these classes are crazy packed. With that said, the efficiency and speed of everyone involved in the process is amazing. Of course there was a bit of waiting but what do you expect, with that said, the flow was a pleasant experience. The better prepared you are, the more you do everything you are supposed to do, when you're supposed to do, the smoother everything will go. Bring all the documentation you need, or even thing you may need, get in line and get your stuff done! One person did NOTHING the first day, some excuse, but still, NOTHING.
Started the day with our roll call, paperwork, overview of the week, sim class schedules and CBT training, DMV visits, all that.
Went from there and got in line to start DOT physical--donated some fluids, nurse, and eye test, etc.--then headed off for Sim class at 1PM. Got done with the introduction, instructors were awesome. Got myself something to eat then headed over for the actual part of the physical with the Doc then over for file review. Got more food for later in the night and headed to the hotel.
I got on the computer at the hotel and started working on CBTs, which is awesome to be able to do. Stayed up kind of l ate, maybe 0100? I got everything done and went to sleep feeling accomplished.

Today, had breakfast at the hotel (over in Oasis, lucky), went to roll call and had Pretrip class. That class was awesome. Everyone got into the presentation and really got the flow going for the day. I cannot explain how AWESOME this class was. Seriously made pretrip pretty exciting, hah.
After that, headed over and got some grub and I'm back at the hotel until 1545 for Health Awareness class and finally sim class at 2100.
Will do some more pretrip reading, maybe take a nap and head back over!

Long trip! No complaints, a free ride to get a chance to change my life is worth any amount of sitting around.
Got some sleep, woke up and did some pretrip studying. This site will be a huge reason I make it through this.
Probably going to get in around 11, get some sleep and be up nice and early to shower, shave, all that.
Almost time to get things going! Finally feeling less worried and more exited. Being prepared is everything.
