Do you mean how many miles a week when you're with your trainer, or just what you can expect weekly as a rookie?

Frank, you don't give us much to work with. Generally, if you're with a mentor you probably have almost no truck driving experience in the first place.

Now as to how much driving you should have with your mentor, keep in mind that all the miles you drive get paid to your mentor. You are getting an hourly pay for your learning time. So most mentors like the free money and you should get your maximum drive time.

Search for "training ride" or "mentor" to read other experiences.

On the other hand, if you're driving in a way that your mentor gets nervous, there may be other issues to deal with. So add some more information here and we can help you better.

Frank, it sounds like there’s something else on your mind; what are you feeling, that you are driving more hours than what you’re comfortable with, or that you’re not driving enough?
