I am officially an employee now.

I can’t believe it. I messed up my test horribly. The only thing in my favor I think is almost all the points I lost were for pull ups to be safe.

Good job Grumpy. Congrats. Don't worry, they don't print pullups on your CDL!

Thanks guys.

They tossed in two maneuvers at the end with no instruction or practice.

One was bumping a dock. I did it with a dozen or so pull-ups.

The other was like pulling between trailers at a truck stop. I actually did pretty well on that.

What really is embarrassing is the very first test was a buttonhole that I badly screwed up. Had to back out of it and start over. That just killed my confidence.

I really expected them to send me home.

Woo Hoo, now you've got a job - that means you've got to get after it! Hang in there, it takes a little bit to get the hang of this business.

You will just have to do all the yard maneuvers again when you come back from training during upgrade. No one gets to practice the driving obstacle course or bumping the dock. The obstacle course should just be following Kyle around it. At least that is what Andy did. The bumping the dock is not practiced to see how you will handle it. It is one of those jump into the pool and see if you can swim.
