Tried to do my run to Indy but had to turn around at exit 9 in Indiana due to ice on 80. It was extremely ice my truck slid sideways a couple times just by touching the brakes. Saw a lot of cars in the wall and saw one spin in front of me.

Be careful if you are coming through the Chicago/north west Indiana area.

Just now starting my day, hopefully I have no problems over near Columbus Ohio going towards NY.

Actually I'm going to wait until day time, since there is nothing but ice around my truck, almost fell a few times. Plus my appointment allows the extra wait time.

Smart move to wait, it was really icy here. Even driving home in my car I slid.

Wow. I made it through just in time. I stopped in Toledo for the night. Gonna hit breakfast and head for Buffalo

Left des Moines at 1am for 1 store in council bluffs and 1 Omaha. Made it nearly to council bluffs before snow hit now everything is ice out here as well. Sitting here picking up a 2 pallet backhaul only 3500 pounds so hopefully it isn't too bad on the way back

We're in Wayland MO at the flying hook. Didn't get lots of snow but was coming down pretty good when we stopped here last night.

With these horribly cold temps, please remember, it really too cold for salt. Etc. to work properly.

So glad you are safe. Ice is scary stuff for even seasoned drivers.

Susan that's exactly what I thought when I saw it. There's an illusion from the snow blowing in between the camera and the mirror that makes it appear the snow is piled up as high as his hood.
