I'm glad I came back to Chicago via "Route 66."

I'm protesting today! I'm shutting down in protest against the Wyoming wind! I demand it stop blowing and won't move until it does.

Now, back to my unscheduled nap.

I'm having a wind shutdown protest since 1130 myself. About 20 miles south of Amarillo on I-27.

LOL! Not trying 50 mph gusts out of the west when I was heading north, especially with only 16,000 in the box.

Ya’ll convinced me. I shall start my DOT HOS protest fir the next 34 hours!!

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Yep, and I'll do it again! Was 15k in the box east bound with 50+ gust out of the south. Odd for Wyoming to have south winds! LOL
