Haha, Mik somebody has got to haul those avocados out of that great big valley in California. It is fun seeing the different trucking company names. Has anyone been intrigued (I'm simple - I get intrigued easily) by how many trucking companies have a three letter name? You know, like TMC, YRC, etc. There's literally thousands of them. I remember seeing a Mexican trucking company named SOL, which means sun. Probably unknown to them, it could mean something totally different here in the states!

Here's an old discussion where I brought up some unusual trucking company names.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

In my former life as a sign guy, I lettered more truck doors than I could count. My all-time favorite company name was "Dead Broke Trucking".
