We have a 2013 Volvo with a Cummins engine, not sure how many ponies are under the hood. How low can the voltage get and still crank the engine? And if we DO need to jump it from the reefer , how long will it take to recharge it on idle?

A refrigerated trailer.

I think 12.5 or there about is the lowest before the batteries are to low. It maybe as low as 12. Yes you can recharge the truck battery from the refer. Depends on how low the batteries got but should be about an hour or so as long as you do not have NOTHING in the truck running and draining the batteries down.
