There is a trucking company I see here and there in the Midwest. It is called Sparhawk trucking. It makes me smile every time I see their trucks.
Rainy writes R+++ books too! If my math is correct R+++ = X. She posted about her "dirty stories" a couple of years back. Scour her archives, I'm sure you'll find it.
That's way more my speed!
Well this just took a twist...

Amazon has a monthly $9.99 subscription called Kindle Unlimited. You can read as many titles on there as you can for free...and the authors often get paid more than if you had bought it.
The problem is that the authors and publishers decide which titles to put on the Unlimited service. To do so, amazon wants exclusivity.
For free ebooks, go on some book and Facebook author groups or pages. New authors are always giving away books for free in exchange for reviews.
A "guy topic" author i really enjoyed is Kevin Swaim. He is an action, military tech type of author.
The was a medieval GOT type fantasy that was decent called The Prince's Man.
Another that comes to.mind is The Shroud. A group.of priests decide to extract Jesus' DNA from the Shroud of Turin in order to clone Jesus and bring about the second coming of Christ.
You would be surprised at nobody authors who self publish but are really good.

Hey LDRSHIP. Noob did mention he read Eddings. I agree with you, Elenium and the Tamuli were great! Sparhawk and his companions from the various orders were all great characters. Lots of humor in Eddings' books. The Belgariad and Malloreon are two series he wrote before the two you mentioned. Written in a similar style.
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check out getting a prime membership. Probably save me a good amount of $$$.
