Well after a bad start yesterday morning, I finally got underway. Qualcomm tells me to get off at 16C. But of course there is only 16A, then 15.
Ha-ha. Those navigation systems like to keep you on your toes. Going north on 295 in NJ my computer tells me to take exit (I think it's) 68B to 206 north when 68A is actually 206 north. 68B is south. Also when coming up 95 towards the Delaware Memorial Bridge, my computer says "stay right on 95 towards Delaware Memorial Bridge/NJ" when in fact 95 does not bear right towards the bridge, 295 does.
I know well the feeling of running out of time and pulling into truck stops with no available parking. On the one hand, it's exhilarating to scramble for a solution to your parking problem. On the other, it's stressful as ____! I hope you keep posting about your experiences.
Qualcomm:
Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.
