PackRat, I didn’t know that, as we were taught we had to log in on duty before doing the Pre Trip, which would start the 14 hour clock. I’m confused about it now. Can you elaborate further?

Technically you have to be on duty....

But if you happen to get out of the truck, and walk around the rig you know to stretch while looking at everything one would look at on a pretrip and if you find no problems you go on duty and kill 15 minutes.

That way if you happen to find any problems you wont already be in duty wasting time.

Pack Rat, I love your Avatar. Nothing like a good old B Mack.

Jamie, I'll bet that made quite a noise.

Yeah it sure did, I thought maybe something was dragging or something... Looked under the truck and heard it coming from under the hood, turned the truck off and popped it open. I instantly seen my coolant tank leaking, so I went to the other side and noticed the belt.

I had a brand new belt but on my truck during service, because the old one was starting to crack. 300 miles down the road the belt broke some times this stuff just happens.

The "new" belts (past 30 years) are about impossible to know if they're going bad. Fine one minute, shredded the next.

Well had a good day of driving after I got the trailer fixed. Sadly I'll still miss my appointment time by two hours, but they'll be closed by then and I don't think they're open on the weekends. So Schneider will probably have me drop it as a relay at our yard in Green Bay WI.

Jamie I’m at the Green Bay OC right now When are you coming in? It’d be cool to meet

Not entirely sure just yet, waiting to hear back from Schneider on what they'll want me to do with the load. If they do want me to drop it as a relay instead then I'll be at the Green Bay OC tomorrow around 2:30-3:00pm.

But the place I'm supposed to deliver to is literally like 3 miles from the OC. 😂😂
