I am based out of Denver! Old School is, as far as I'm aware, the only other active Knight driver here.
That's good to know! I wasn't aware that Old School is with Knight.... another something good to know! I was just made official yesterday, got my Knight driver code and my range invitation to start in Phoenix on April 1. I guess that will make me number 3 on here with Knight. As big as Knight is, I'd really be surprised if there are only the two of you who are active on TT.
Well congratulations! And hey, if I'm down in Phoenix I'll pop by and see how you're doing! We're probably not the only ones, just the only active ones. But I also don't look to hard so I may be wrong. What terminal will you be dispatched out of when you finish?
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Ha! I've been to that WinCo! Small world. Speaking of Phoenix, was there twice last week.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
I must have just missed you, Dave. I was there twice too.

It was an eventful few days. Delivered to the Kroger DC. Picked up a trailer at the SAM/Walmart DC for Tucson the grabbed a JBL load to Las Vegas (that was a fun one, three stops...)
