Starting Friday I need a little help. From Covington, Ga. To Lewiston,Me. Then Akron,Ny then Middleburg hts,Oh then Willoughby,Oh then back to Covington. I am trying to find out if it would be better to have a prepass or pay cash for the tolls. How much would it be for an 18- wheeler?

It is better with EZ Pass (Pre Pass is for state scale house that has it). You do get a small discount with it than you would paying cash. The price varies at each location. I will tell you it will be a small fortune in cash each trip.

I am surprised the company you are driving for does not have EZ Pass (and as a company driver you should not have to pay the tolls, unless you get paid back). But even if you get re-imbursed, it will be a big chunk of change out of your pocket until you get paid.
